VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) is, at its simplest, a service that enables phone calls using a broadband internet connection instead of phone lines. AOS works with several VoIP providers offering Hosted PBX services (the “brain” does not reside at your location), and SIP Trunking (allows your onsite PBX to utilize the internet for voice calls).
